Golf Cart Rules 

All of our golf carts are street legal and are registered as a motor vehicle. Drivers must follow all rules and traffic laws. If you are caught not obeying the following rules and restrictions, we will have your cart confiscated and will not refund the remainder of rental.

•  Key should never be left in the lock box or in the ignition, please have it with you at all times. 

•  Golf carts are not allowed on sidewalks, beaches, bike paths, grass or over curbs.

•  Golf carts are not allowed on Emerald Coast Parkway (Highway 98).

•  Golf carts are allowed ONLY on posted roads with speed limit of 35mph or less.

•  Children under the age of 3 are required to ride in a car seat.

•  Children 4 and up must sit in their own seat with a seat belt, booster seat is recommended but not required.

•  Children are prohibited to ride on adult’s lap, this is illegal and unsafe.

•  Driver and passengers must wear a seat belt at all times.

•  No drinking of alcohol or use of drugs allowed while operating a golf cart.

•  You can be issued a DUI for open containers or driving under the influence, even if it is a golf cart.

•  Drivers are prohibited from using cellphones while operating a golf cart.

•  Pets are not allowed.

•  Headlights must be used at night.

•  Do not place items such as chairs, umbrellas, coolers on the roof of cart. 

•  You may park your golf cart in any spot a car would park, a lot of places have designated spots just for golf carts which makes it very convenient.

•  Parking tickets or any other citation will be billed to primary driver.

•  In case of an accident, contact your primary insurance company to report a claim.

•  Any damage to the cart must be immediately reported to us.
